This works as an adjustment strap to refit any breast collar that rides too low across the horse’s shoulder, which can limit his mobility, or too high at the throat, cutting off his wind.
Snap into the rings located between the breast collar and the tugs that attach to the saddle. Adjust by lifting breast collar above the points of the shoulder and lengthen tugs to allow center D-Ring to drop down toward horse’s breastplate. The center strap from the breast collar to the cinch should also be adjusted to remove excess slack.
Proper adjustment should provide a deep V-shape to any breast collar for enhanced fit and performance.
