The Alpine Flex2® trail saddle has a cut out skirt shape which allows closer contact and more precise cueing. It's a favorite among trail riders because of the soft, Impact Foam seat, already broke in Softee® seat jockeys, and EBS stirrups which reduce joint fatigue give you total comfort in a brand new saddle. Engraved stainless steel conchos and stainless steel hardware resist rust and corrosion.

Flex2® saddles are designed to include comfort features for both the horse and rider that work in synergy with the Flex2® tree. Only Circle Y has the exclusive Flex2® tree design which uses a rigid ground seat for rider support, a high density bar which disperses rider weight, and low density bar which is against the horse and provides give for freedom of movement. This results in a lightweight saddle that will never get wider over time, flex in half, or overflex to create pressure points if properly fitted. Give yourself and your horse the lightweight comfort you’ve been craving!

Proper saddle fit is first priority. Use these general guidelines to help you decide which tree fit your horse needs. For more detailed information, please view our Saddle Fitting page with our SaddleFittingGuide-CircleY2016.pdf (1 download) .
Medium: recommended for a horse with a defined wither
Wide: recommended for a horse with a round, or mutton, wither

This is one great trail saddle. With the Flex2 system I am able to use it for my quarter horse in Arizona and my Tennessee Walker in Ontario. The saddle seat promotes correct posture and is extremely comfortable for long rides. I am extremely happy with this saddle not just for me but especially for my horse. Both of us are comfortable and enjoy our ride because of it.

I can’t say enough good things about this saddle! Just love it. I do a lot of long trail rides and never get sore in this saddle. The impact Gel seat is wonderful. You sit nice and deep in the seat, so if my horse spooks, crow hops or decides to jump a ravine I stay in the saddle. The close contact cut out is awesome for better communication with my horse. My horse has never gotten sore with this saddle and I love the rigging set up. So easy to change rigging positions. Very happy I purchased this and would recommend it to anyone
